Generally, it is either a portrait or an illustration with some small meaning behind it that I do. For instance, the last two, 2:2 and 2:1 are playing with the questions someone gets when they ask about a wedding ring, or engagement ring.

I take phrases and imagine what a personification of that phrase would look like if drawn. Today is no different. In college (high school) I always heard "liquor before beer, you're in the clear...but beer before liquor, never sicker." This jug just finished some Hops followed by some Scotch.
